Questions
Questions brokers ask first
Do my borrowers need an account?
No. Your borrowers open your branded upload page on their phone or computer and send their documents. There’s nothing to sign up for. See the borrower’s side
Do I need Finmo?
Yes. TheBrokerMate is built to work with Finmo: it sends borrower details and documents to your own Finmo account. Your Finmo subscription and its fees are separate.
Does it make lending decisions?
No. TheBrokerMate is not a lender and doesn’t approve or decline mortgages. It collects and reads documents so you can prepare the file.
Where does borrower data go?
Documents are stored in cloud storage and read by an AI service so the key fields can be pulled out. The details are then sent to your Finmo account. The security page lists each service and what it does. Read how data is handled
